Oil prices rose at the end of Tuesday’s session, as OPEC raised its forecast for oil demand, as well as U.S. supply concerns due to weather conditions.

Prices for benchmark Brent crude futures for November delivery rose 1.7% or $1.27 to $75.17 a barrel.

Prices for U.S. Nymex crude contracts for November delivery, the most active contract, rose 1.7%, or $1.19, to $71.56 a barrel.

According to the annual Global Oil Outlook report, OPEC expects global oil demand to reach 118.9 million bpd by 2045, nearly 2.9 million bpd higher than expected in last year’s report.
