Oil Prices Jumps 1% to $82.12 by End of Trading

Oil prices ended Friday's trading, at the end of the week, with an increase of 1%.

Brent crude futures rose 76 cents or 0.93% at settlement to $82.12 per barrel, but recorded weekly losses.

US crude futures increased 85 cents or 1.11% to $77.72 per barrel at settlement, but declined during the week.

The two benchmarks reached their lowest levels in several months yesterday.

Markets are awaiting the meeting of OPEC+, on June 2, which will be held remotely, and will discuss whether to extend oil production cuts.
