Hissein Brahim The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is following with great concern the military operations that have targeted Bamako, the capital of the Republic of Mali, and certain regions of the country.
The OIC Secretary-General has strongly condemned these military operations which seriously endanger the lives of civilians and threaten peace, security, and stability.
The OIC Secretary-General reiterated the OIC’s commitment to restoring peace, security, and stability in the Republic of Mali, expressed his full solidarity with the Malian people, and supported the efforts of the authorities of the Republic of Mali in establishing security and maintaining stability throughout the country.
