On the occasion of ‘Africa Day’, celebrated every year on 25 May, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, extended his warm congratulations to African countries and the African Union.
He hailed the significant progress made by the African continent in promoting peace, security, health, education, and economic development. This progress reflects Africa’s immense potential and capacity for transformation and growth, benefiting African people.
The Secretary-General reaffirmed the OIC's commitment to making substantial contributions to the development of the people of African States.
