On behalf of His Excellency Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), His Excellency Mr. Yousef bin Mohammed Al-Dhubaey, Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs, participated in the proceedings of the Second International Forum for Dialogue of Declarations. The Forum was held in the city of Tashkent from September 10 to 13, 2025. Numerous political and religious leaders, representatives of civil society organizations, and research centres participated in the event.

This forum is considered as an important platform for dialogue and the exchange of ideas on urgent challenges related to promoting freedom of religion, ensuring interfaith harmony, and building partnerships in this regard.

At the opening session, His Excellency Yousef Al-Dubaey delivered a statement on behalf of the OIC Secretary-General, highlighting the OIC's efforts to entrench the values of tolerance, and to combat intolerance and discrimination, in line with relevant resolutions adopted by the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers. He reaffirmed OIC support for freedom of faith and belief and the promotion of interfaith harmony through dialogue and institutional and community partnerships.

The forum featured a number of working sessions dedicated to discussing the role of government institutions in ensuring religious freedom, and the contributions of civil society organizations in promoting harmony among communities of different religious backgrounds. In addition, three panel discussions were organized with the participation of religious leaders, government officials, and law enforcement agencies.
