The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hissein Brahim Taha, extended condolences to Saudi Arabia following the crash of a Saudi Aramco helicopter in Ras Tanura that killed several crew members and company employees.
In a statement issued Sunday, Taha expressed his sympathies to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the families of the victims, praying for mercy for those who died and strength for their loved ones.
The OIC chief also reaffirmed the organization’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia during the tragedy, describing the crash as a painful loss and expressing support for the Kingdom as it mourns the victims. The statement underscored the OIC’s commitment to standing with its member states in times of hardship and extending humanitarian solidarity following major disasters.
