The Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) Media Observatory on Israeli Crimes said it documented 1,003 alleged Israeli violations across the Palestinian territories in its 134th periodic report, highlighting what it described as a continued escalation of tensions and attacks on religious sites.
According to the report, Israeli forces carried out actions targeting several Islamic holy sites, including the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem and the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, during the past week. The observatory said additional mosques were also affected by military operations and restrictions.
The OIC body said the reported incidents formed part of a broader pattern of violations affecting Palestinians in the occupied territories, including restrictions on worship, military raids and other security measures.
The observatory renewed calls for greater international attention to developments in the Palestinian territories and for measures aimed at protecting civilians and religious sites.
