The Organization of Islamic Cooperation said its Media Observatory on Israeli Crimes Against Palestinians documented a series of developments in its 119th report, including the closure of key Islamic holy sites and escalating violence in Palestinian territories.
According to the report, Israeli authorities closed both Al-Aqsa Mosque and Ibrahimi Mosque, while Israeli forces occupied 32 Palestinian homes in the West Bank.
The observatory also reported continued bombardment across the Gaza Strip, saying at least 45 Palestinians were killed or injured during the past week as strikes targeted multiple areas of the enclave.
The report said the developments reflect a continuing escalation affecting civilian areas and religious sites, and documented a range of military raids, home seizures and attacks across Palestinian territories during the reporting period.
The OIC observatory regularly monitors and documents developments in Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem as part of its reporting on the situation in the Palestinian territories.
