Muhammad Saeed Sarwar presented his credentials on March 17 as the new Permanent Observer of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation to the United Nations Office at Geneva.
Sarwar formally submitted his credentials to Tatiana Valovaya, Director-General of the UN Office at Geneva, during an official ceremony.
Both officials highlighted the strong and longstanding relations between the OIC and the United Nations, emphasizing ongoing cooperation across a range of international issues.
They also expressed their commitment to further strengthening and diversifying collaboration between the two organizations, underscoring the importance of multilateral engagement in addressing global challenges.
