The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held a training workshop entitled: The Role of Awareness Services in Enriching the Journey of the Guests of the Most Gracious.

The workshop aimed to coordinate joint efforts with representatives of Member States to develop and improve Hajj awareness, including an explanation of all awareness products and the most prominent services for the Hajj season.

The workshop was attended by representatives of awareness and media departments from the ministries and Hajj missions of Member States and Observer States of the OIC.

This workshop comes within the framework of the cooperation program between the General Secretariat and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the Hajj season of 1446 AH/2025 AD, to serve the guests of the Most Gracious, pilgrims and Umrah performers, from across the Islamic world.

In the opening remarks of the General Secretariat, delivered by Dr. Rami Mohammed Inshasi, the General Secretariat commended the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving the Guests of the Most Gracious since the reign of King Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God have mercy on him - and up to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, may God protect them.

It also commended the efforts made by the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, and all state sectors to care for the Guests of the Most Gracious, improve the services provided to them, and develop the Holy Sites within the framework of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
