The Organization of Islamic Cooperation said its Media Observatory on Israeli Crimes Against Palestinians has documented 145 settlement-related activities in the West Bank within a single week, according to its 125th monitoring report released Tuesday.
The observatory said the findings reflect continued expansion of settlements and related measures in Palestinian territories, raising concerns over their impact on stability and prospects for peace. The report also tracked developments affecting civilians in both the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
Officials noted that the monitoring mechanism aims to provide regular documentation of incidents and support international awareness of developments on the ground. The organization reiterated calls for respect for international law and renewed efforts to advance a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
