Youssef bin Mohammed Al-Dubeay represented the Organization of Islamic Cooperation at the plenary session of the Kazan Economic Forum 2026 in Kazan, emphasizing the importance of expanding economic and investment ties between Russia and OIC member states.
Speaking on behalf of OIC Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha, Al-Dubeay praised Russia and the Republic of Tatarstan for hosting the forum, describing it as a strategic platform for economic dialogue.
The session included senior officials such as Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, who stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with the Islamic world.
