He added that the Palestinian issue will remain the first central issue of this organization, “There is no doubt that we in this prestigious organization are required, more than ever, to show solidarity with the Palestinian people in defense of their just cause, and to defend the sanctuary of Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

The Saudi Foreign Minister confirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia supports the Palestinian people and their choices in order to achieve their hopes and aspirations. He also stressed the necessity of working hard to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict through a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, that ensures the interests of the Palestinian people and restores their legitimate rights.

Meanwhile, OIC Secretary-General Yousef bin Ahmed Al Othaimeen expressed his appreciation to the Saudi government for its continuous support, confirming that this meeting reflects the support and attention the Kingdom’s leadership attach to the Palestinian cause.
