The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the twin terrorist attack that targeted the military airport area and the gendarmerie school in Bamako, which resulted in deaths and injuries.
His Excellency the OIC Secretary-General, Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, described this attack as a heinous terrorist act, reaffirming the OIC's solidarity with the authorities in Mali and the Sahel countries in their efforts to combat terrorism.
The Secretary-General offered his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government and people of Mali, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
