The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Saturday condemned a terrorist attack targeting a security checkpoint in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, which killed and injured several soldiers and a civilian.
In a statement, the OIC General Secretariat expressed its condolences to the government and people of Pakistan, as well as to the families of the victims, and wished a swift recovery to those injured.
The organization reaffirmed its solidarity with Pakistan in its efforts to combat terrorism and violence, stressing its unwavering support for measures aimed at enhancing security and stability.
The OIC also reiterated its firm rejection of terrorism and violent extremism in all their forms and manifestations, emphasizing the need for continued international cooperation to confront threats posed by terrorist groups and promote regional peace and security.
