The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that targeted a defense and security forces base in the Lake Chad region, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of dozens of soldiers.
Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, offered his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and expressed his wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured. He also reaffirmed the Organization’s General Secretariat’s support for Chad, its government and people, in their efforts to combat terrorism and promote security, peace and stability in the country.
