The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemns the terrorist attack on a Defense and Security Forces base in Barkaram, Western Chad, which resulted in the death of forty people.
The OIC Secretary-General, H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, expresses his deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured, reiterating the OIC’s support to the government and people of Chad in their efforts to counter terrorism and strengthen security, peace, and stability in Chad.
