OIC Condemns Storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Extremist Settler Groups

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed its strong condemnation of the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by extremist Yehuda Glick and settler groups, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, considering it a provocation to the feelings of all Muslims, and a flagrant violation of relevant international conventions, agreements and resolutions.

The OIC also warned of the danger of the continued and escalating violations by the Israeli occupation in the occupied city of Al-Quds, stressing that Israel, the occupying power, has no sovereignty over the city and its sanctities, and that the entire area of ​​the blessed Aqsa Mosque, is a place of worship exclusively for Muslims.

Furthermore, the OIC called on the UN Security Council and UNESCO, to assume their responsibilities to put an end to all grave and repeated Israeli violations of the sanctity of holy places and freedom of worship. It renewed its call on the international community to stop the Israeli aggression completely and immediately and to provide international protection for the Palestinian people, their land, and their sanctities.
