OIC Condemns Israel’s Ongoing Attacks on Syria

The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned in the strongest terms the attacks and incursions by Israeli occupation forces into the governorates of Quneitra and Daraa in the Syrian Arab Republic, and their targeting of these areas with artillery shelling, in flagrant violation of Syria’s sovereignty and in breach of international law and international humanitarian law.

The General Secretariat expressed its condemnation of the Israeli occupation’s ongoing attacks on Syria and its attempts to undermine the country’s security and stability and to sabotage efforts to establish security and stability in the region.

While reaffirming the OIC’s position of solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic and its sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, the General Secretariat calls upon the international community to take immediate action to halt these attacks and ensure respect for the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, thereby safeguarding Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
