The OIC Media Observatory recorded a sharp increase in numbers of Israeli crimes against Palestinians during the seven days, compared to the previous week.

The Media Observatory documented 967 Palestinians murdered by Israel, including 550 in the Gaza Strip, where 14 bodies were recovered from beneath the rubble and 401 others were confirmed dead, including 130 killed while waiting for aid, in addition to two Palestinians murdered in the West Bank.

The number of Palestinians wounded last week reached 2,568, bringing the total number of wounded from October 7, 2023, to September 8, 2025, to 172,131, and the number of murdered Palestinians to 65,556.

On September 5, 2025, the Israeli occupying forces began Operation “Gideon 2” by systematically bombing high rise buildings and dropping incendiary bombs on the roofs of Palestinian homes and cars, creating a ring of fire to force the residents of Gaza City to flee south.

As documented by the OIC Media Observatory, during this period, the Israeli occupation forces bombed Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital and the killed Palestinian journalist Rasmi Jihad in Gaza City, bringing the number of Palestinian journalists murdered to 248.

The Israeli occupation forces continue their deliberate killings as famine spreads to Khan Yunis and Deir al-Balah. This comes as the United Nations reports that there are 3,000 trucks at the Gaza Strip border with enough supplies to meet the Strip’s needs for two full months, but the Israeli occupation forces continue to block their entry.

In the West Bank, the occupation forces carried out 253 raids on cities and villages, arresting 180 Palestinians, including five children, in Nablus, Ramallah, and Jericho, and wounding two children in the town of Tamoun in Tubas. Settlers assaulted a three-month-old baby girl in the town of Yatta in Hebron.

The occupation forces demolished 12 houses, a park, three barns in Jerusalem, Salfit, and Bethlehem, three shops, and parts of commercial barns and warehouses in the vegetable market in the town of Beita, Nablus. They also confiscated money from individuals in various areas of the West Bank, along with gold items from two Palestinian women in Jenin and Salfit.

In terms of attacks on mosques, Al-Aqsa Mosque was subjected to daily incursions by extremist settlers. The occupation forces closed Al-Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron and prevented celebrations of the Prophet’s Maulud in the mosque. They also demolished the minaret of Al-Farouq Mosque east of the town of Dura in Hebron. They raided and searched the Hanbali Mosque after breaking down its doors in the city of Nablus.

The number of settler attacks on West Bank villages, documented by the OIC Media Observatory, reached 61 within one week, These included an attack by settlers on residents in the Khallet al-Daba area in Masafar Yatta, near Hebron, where they assaulted them with sharp tools, injuring eight Palestinians, including women and children. They also destroyed the contents of houses, including water tanks and solar panels that supply the village with electricity, and attacked and burned barns belonging to residents of the eastern village of Jaba in Jerusalem. The settlers also grazed their livestock as usual on land in the villages of Bardala and Kardala in Tubas, in the town of Halhul in Hebron, in the Shalal al-Auja area of Ras al-Auja in Jericho, in the town of Taybeh, and in the villages of Sinjil and al-Mughayir in Ramallah. The settlers burned agricultural land in Wadi Sa’ir in Hebron and cut tree branches in the villages of Yabrud in Ramallah, Rujib in Nablus, and Jaloud in Nablus. Under the protection of the occupation forces, they seized a Palestinian house in the Old City of Hebron, held a provocative party around the house, damaged the irrigation network, and stole a water pump in the village of Beitillo, an agricultural tractor in the village of Al-Mughayir, fruit from the town of Atara, and a cart in the village of Ramoun in Ramallah. A settler ran over two Palestinians with a bulldozer in the village of Izbat Al-Tabib in Qalqilya, and settlers destroyed an agricultural nursery in the village of Yatta in Nablus.

There were 11 settlement activities documented by the Observatory in seven days. Among the most notable was the occupation forces’order to confiscate 4,727 dunams of land in the Jabal al-Dhib area belonging to the town of Deir Istiya, in Salfit, and 455.58 dunums of land in the villages of Jit and Far’ata in Qalqilya and Tal in the Nablus governorate, for the benefit of the “Havat Gilad” settlement outpost.

The occupation forces also placed mobile homes in a settlement outpost near the town of Bani Na’im in Hebron, while settlers from the “Mitzpe Yair” settlement erected mobile homes southeast of the town of Yatta, as well as mobile homes and tents in the Al-Qala’a area in the village of Iskaka in Salfit, and a tent near the home of a Palestinian in the village of Burin in Nablus, where they raised the occupation flag.

Settlers also reopened a dirt road south of the town of Sinjil, constructed a settlement road north of the village of Deir Abu Mash’al in Ramallah, seized the Hamma spring in the northern Jordan Valley, and brought in a contractor to carry out a settlement project there. They also carried out excavation and bulldozing work on land in the village of Kafr Malik in Ramallah.
