Official Says No Cholera Cases Detected in Egypt

Presidential Advisor for Health and Prevention Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din stressed that no cholera cases have been detected in Egypt, pointing out that it is already found around the world, including the Middle East.

In televised remarks, Taj El-Din added that this disease is 'dangerous' and leads to intestinal flu and severe diarrhea, pointing out that the causes of this disease are contamination of water and unclean food.
