Khaled Abbas, head of the New Administrative Capital (NAC) Company, said that the government will start working fully from the new capital, starting on June 15.

He added, during an interview with the “On My Responsibility” program, presented by Ahmed Musa, on the “Sada El-Balad” satellite channel, which was aired on Sunday evening, that there are 19 ministries and ten government agencies that have started working from the new capital, including the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

Abbas referred to the holding of the weekly meeting of the Council of Ministers in the Administrative Capital, stressing the importance of this move in light of the congestion in Cairo's downtown area, with the inability to modernize the infrastructure.

He pointed out that the state is moving towards a smart and paperless government, which could not have happened in the old headquarters.

And he affirmed that moving is not just changing buildings, but also includes a renewal of thought.

He explained that the government neighborhood allows ministers to move between ministries easily.
