Official Expects Coronavirus Infection Peak to Decline by Mid-November

The peak of COVID-19 infections is expected to decline in the second half of this November, Hossam Hosny, head of the Scientific Committee to Combat Coronavirus at the Ministry of Health confirmed. 

 

In press statements, Hosny added that the state provides 8 types of approved and effective vaccines, stressing that vaccination does not prevent infection with the virus, but rather reduces the risk of infection.

 

On Saturday, Egypt reported 903 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, 65 deaths, and 711 recoveries, according to the ministry of health.

 

In its daily briefing, the ministry reported a total of 337,485 cases in Egypt, along with 18,949 deaths and 283, 225 recoveries.
