The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail across the country, during daylight hours on Sunday.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads to Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the North Coast.
Despite the expected hot weather across Egypt, meteorologists predict low and medium clouds will provide some relief in some parts of the north of the country during daylight hours. Wind will be active occasionally across the country.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height with northeast surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, the country will experience moderate weather at nighttime and in the early hours of the day.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 31°C in Cairo, 28°C in Alexandria, 28°C in Marsa Matruh, 33°C in Sohag, 36°C in Qena, and 36°C in Aswan.
