The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has issued a warning about the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The situation is deteriorating due to repeated waves of displacement, overcrowded conditions, insecurity, collapsing infrastructure, ongoing hostilities, and limited services.
Humanitarian workers in Gaza reported that the latest Israeli evacuation order issued on Saturday has affected approximately 13,500 displaced people in 18 locations. This includes the entire area of Maghazi camp and several other neighborhoods in Deir al-Balah.
OCHA cautioned that ongoing hostilities, evacuation orders, and severe shortages of essential items are making it increasingly difficult for displaced families to access basic services in the locations they reach.
