The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said that attacks by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank have displaced nearly 100 Palestinian families over the past two weeks.

In a statement, the UN office warned that the recent wave of settler violence has significantly worsened the humanitarian situation, forcing families to flee their homes amid rising insecurity and damage to property.

OCHA noted that the displaced families come from several communities across the West Bank, where repeated attacks, intimidation, and restrictions on movement have undermined residents’ ability to remain in their areas.

The UN office reiterated its concern over the growing impact of settler-related violence on civilians and called for the protection of Palestinian communities, stressing the need to ensure respect for international humanitarian law.

The situation in the West Bank has continued to deteriorate amid heightened tensions and an increase in violent incidents, further compounding humanitarian challenges facing Palestinian civilians.
