O6U Receives Foreign Students for New Academic Year

October 6 University (O6U) continues its reception of the Egyptian, Arab, and foreign students in conjunction with the new academic year.

O6U includes 13 faculties; seven of them had obtained accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Education (NAQAAE).

The university's faculties include medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, engineering, applied arts, physical therapy, applied medical sciences, media and mass communication, economics and management, languages and translation, education, tourism and hotels, information systems and computer sciences.

The university has a new board of trustees, headed by Ahmed Zaki Badr. It is worthy to note that Dr. Gamal Samy was appointed as its president.

The institution also has cooperation and partnership agreements with several universities inside and abroad to offer quality education to students who would be able to meet the needs of the labor market.

The institution has 189 laboratories equipped with the latest devices, a university campus, a central library, a student hotel, a mall and a certifying office of the Foreign Ministry which is the first of its kind in private universities.

It is the oldest and largest private university in Egypt, member of the Association of Arab Universities, the Association of African Universities, and the UN Global Compact on corporate social responsibility. It has about 25,000 students.
