NRIAG: Egypt's Seismic Network Detects 6.3 Magnitude Earthquake Felt Across Egypt, Strikes Greece and Cyprus"

The seismic stations of Egypt's National Seismic Network recorded an earthquake around 1:54 AM, which was felt by residents of Cairo. 

Reuters reported that a 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck Greece and Crete, and was felt by people in Egypt.

The official page of the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG) stated that the earthquake occurred east of Crete in the Mediterranean Sea.

The center of the earthquake was east of Crete in the Mediterranean Sea, according to Dr. Taha Rabah, the director of NRIAG.

He revealed in his statements to MENA that a detailed statement about the earthquake will be released in minutes.
