Norway has pledged its support to Ukraine by joining an international alliance aimed at bolstering the country's air and missile defense capabilities.

The German Defense Ministry heralded this development, underscoring Norway's commitment to the collective endeavor focused on enhancing air and missile defenses, through an announcement shared on the X social media platform.

The coalition, spearheaded by Germany and France, is dedicated to the progressive fortification of Ukraine's comprehensive air defense systems.

This strategic initiative was set in motion following deliberations at Germany's Ramstein Air Base, concentrating on extending military support to Ukraine, including the provision of sophisticated air and missile defense apparatus.

This collaborative venture was formalized on February 15, as disclosed by the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, highlighting the leadership roles of Germany and France in this international endeavor.

In response to the growing international military support for Ukraine, Moscow has communicated its concerns to NATO member states, with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov emphasizing that any shipments of arms destined for Ukraine would be deemed legitimate targets by Russia, signaling the heightened tensions surrounding the conflict.
