Nokia Releases New Smart TV with Android 9.0

Nokia issued th 1st smart TV in the Indian market. The 55-inch model being launched today is the first of its kind.

According to Gsmarena.com, the TV runs on Android TV 9.0 platform with built-in Chromecast support. Also get Netflix, YouTube and Hotstar apps pre-installed.

The acoustics of the Nokia Smart TV has been engineered by JBL, which will let customers experience clear vocal tones and minimal harmonic distortion, the company reported in a statement.

True to JBL's brand recall, the Nokia Smart TV will also enjoy deep bass tones, typically popular with Indian audiences. It is powered by 24 watt built-in speakers, "DTS TruSurround" and Dolby Audio to enhance the overall audio experience.

According to Live Mint, the TV visuals are bolstered with "MEMC" technology, which eliminates blurs and judders for a screen shift devoid of lags, thus, offering better picture definition.

Meanwhile, Nokia smart TV comes with the Cortex-A53 quad-core CPU, Mali-450 GPU, 2.25GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi. For ports, you get three HDMI ports and two standard USB ports. In addition Nokia 55CAUHDN is priced at INR 41,999 ($589) and will be available on Flipkart starting December 10.
