Ali Safavi, a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), stated today that recent investigative reports, most notably the revelations by Reuters regarding the "Nobitex" platform, expose the hideous face of the systematic corruption orchestrated by the mullahs to plunder the nation’s wealth and fuel their war machine.

Safavi remarked, "The control of the Kharazi family, which is organically linked to the inner circle of the dead Supreme Leader, over the country's largest cryptocurrency exchange proves that the regime utilizes every illegal means to circumvent international sanctions.

The use of aliases like 'Agghamir' by the brothers Ali and Mohammad Kharazi to conceal their identities and their proximity to power was a calculated maneuver to manage a financial artery that pumps hundreds of millions of dollars into the coffers of the IRGC and blacklisted entities."

He added: "Nobitex has transformed into a parallel financial bridge serving terrorist agendas. Blockchain data has revealed the processing of massive transactions for the Central Bank and the regime's security apparatuses, aimed at disguising the sources of looted funds and facilitating the smuggling of weapons and drones, which fuel the devastating regional wars that have decimated the region’s resources."

Safavi continued: "This loud scandal emerges while the Iranian people suffer from extreme poverty and a suffocating digital isolation imposed by the repressive organs, even as the ruling elite enjoys the freedom to withdraw and smuggle tens of millions of dollars abroad. This organized looting accelerates the internal erosion of a regime currently facing the consequences of a devastating external war that has shattered its remaining military prestige."

Safavi explained, "The resort by the remnants of the Velayat-e Faqih regime to escalating repression, as seen in the recent heinous crime of executing eight members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), including Vahid Bani Amerian and Abolhassan Montazer, is a desperate attempt by a dying system to control explosive public anger and cover its financial and strategic scandals. The blood of these heroes will only increase the determination of the Resistance Units to pursue the heads of corruption and dismantle their networks."

He emphasized, "The Iranian Resistance, through the Resistance Units inside the country, continues to monitor and analyze these regressive financial networks and is fully prepared for the phase of transitioning sovereignty to the people, as announced by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi through the Provisional Government. The era of the mullahs ended with the death of Ali Khamenei, and the future belongs to a democratic Iran that reclaims its stolen wealth for the sake of development and peace."

Safavi concluded: "We call on the international community to close all digital and financial loopholes utilized by the IRGC and to recognize the right of the Iranian people to overthrow this corrupt regime. Platforms like Nobitex are not private companies; they are instruments of war in the hands of a vanishing dictatorship, and legal accountability for everyone who contributed to the plundering of the Iranian people's funds is inevitable."
