No Egyptian citizens were reported among the victims of the Morocco Earthquake that struck the country, early Sunday, according to officials.
Authorities highlighted that they are monitoring the situation of the victims and injured in coordination with the Moroccan authorities.
Earlier, In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity, the Arab Republic of Egypt, through an official statement issued by its Foreign Ministry on Saturday, September 9, expressed deep condolences and support to Morocco following the devastating Earthquake in Marakesh.
The catastrophe left more than 820 dead, and 672 injured, according to officials.
In a statement, Egypt's Foreign Ministry expressed its full solidarity with Morocco after this tragedy.
It also offered condolences to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
