A newly designed Nike footwear embellished with an early version of the US flag has been pulled out of the marker following a complaint from former National Football League (NFL) player Colin Kaepernick.
The flag bears a circle of 13 stars, and it was created during the American Revolution and later used by the American Nazi Party. Ross finished sewing the first Stars and Stripes flag in 1776.
Nike withdrew the Air Max, which was intended for the Fourth of July "Independence Day" after Kaepernick expressed concerns with the design.

Kaepernick is known for kneeling during the country's national anthem to protest against police violence towards African-Americans.
Since the 2016 season, Kaepernick has not joined the NFL, claiming that teams partners intentionally pushed him out for being politically active.

A Nike representative told the Wall Street Journal that the US sports giant has decided to pull the Air Max as it featured the old version of the American flag.
In the meantime, demand was boosted on the Air Max After Nike recalled their sneakers. The sportswear was priced at $120, however, now it jumped at $200 a pair following supporters and critics.
