The famous Oscar winning actress Nicole Kidman announced yesterday on her official Instagram account (@nicolekidman) that she along with her husband Keith Urban endorse the “Support Act”.
Kidman shared an adorable picture of herself snuggled up against her husband as she wore his merch t-shirt with the caption “#AusMusictShirtDay is coming up this Friday, so join us by sharing a photo wearing a shirt with one of your favorite Australian artists on it. This day help raise money and awareness for @SupportAct – which provides crisis relief services to people in Australia’s music industry xx’
“Support Act” is the only Australian charity that offers crisis relief services to artists, crew members, and music workers who suffered some kind of ill health, injury, mental health problem, or any other crisis that impacted their ability to work.
Their services include paying the rent, the bills, or the mortgage, buying wheelchairs, paying for repairs and credit card debts. They also provide support to the friends and family trying to raise funds through their Help a Mate campaign.
It worth mentioning that the couple have always been charitable. They asked people to donate to the Sydney Children's Hospital instead of giving them presents at their wedding, and they donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to charity through the years. Not to mention the fact that Kidman has been a UNICEF goodwill ambassador for years.
