American rapper Nicki Minaj welcomed her first child with husband Kenneth Petty on Wednesday, Sept. 30, in Los Angeles, according to multiple reports.
The new parents haven't revealed the baby gender or name just yet.
Minaj announced her pregnancy in late July in a series of Instagram posts. In the first post, the rapper wore a bikini and showed off a side view of her baby bump and captioned "#Preggers," and a heart emoji, while the second was of her holding her growing belly.
"Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes." Minaj wrote on her the third post.
The pair began dating in 2018 and has known each other since they were kids. They tied the knot in October 2019, after the rapper announced her retirement from music, a decision which she quickly backtracked.
She surprised fans in October 2019, when she posted on Instagram about marrying Petty. Minaj shared a video on the platform and captioned: “Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty 10•21•19,”.
