Lebanese superstar Wael Jassar is set to perform two concerts in Egypt on New Year’s Eve, on December 31st.
Jassar announced the news on Instagram, stating that he will be performing at the JW Marriott Hotel in New Cairo, and The Nile Ritz-Carlton.
On the other hand, the superstar is working on a new romantic single called, "Hob Gaded" (New Love).
It is written by Mohamed Galal and composed by Mohamed Al-Toukhi.
It is worth mentioning that Jassar, born on November 22, 1976, in Beqaa Valley, Lebanon.
At the age of eight, he used to study and perform at parties, with his family's permission. He studied music with Professor George Rofail and Professor Mohsen Moawad and learned to play the oud.
Jassar performed at events and concerts in his village, constantly performing songs by the most famous Arab singers, such as Umm Kulthum, Abdel Halim Hafez, and Mohamed Abdel Wahab.
He participated in one of the local festivals that were held in the Rayak region in the Bekaa and placed first.
Then, Jassar participated in the famous talent show program "The Letters Sing" and all the attendees praised his voice and his vocal capabilities and nicknamed him "the miraculous child".
He stopped singing for a while due to the changes that occurred to his voice as he transited from childhood to boyhood and manhood. In 2001, Jasser resumed his music career with the album "Mashi".
Jassar married Mireille Makdisi in 2005. They welcomed two children, a daughter, Marilyn, and a son, Wael Junior.
