The new round of nuclear talks between Iran, and world powers kicked off in Vienna on Thursday, Iran's top negotiator Ali Bagheri announced.
Bagheri tweeted that he held several meetings with negotiators from China, Russia, and the European Union (EU).
He stated: I "started my working day by hosting a useful & constructive meeting with top negotiators of Russia & China. Also met with EU's Mora ahead of Joint Commission."

Next, the Iranian official added that his country "will continue to engage seriously & is determined to reach a good deal that secures our nation's rights & interests."
It is worthy to mention that Tasnim news agency reported last Tuesday that Bagheri coordinated the date of the upcoming rounds with the EU Coordinator Enrique Mora.
Iran – US indirect talks were already resumed on November 29, before they were suspended on Friday for having time to study the latest submitted requirements by the Iranian delegation.
Last October, US President Joe Biden announced on Saturday that discussions with Iran will resume in an effort to re-establish the Obama-era nuclear agreement, as he and other US allies cautioned that Tehran has “increased the pace of provocative nuclear actions.”
The US president indicated that talks are set to restart, in what appears to be the first public confirmation by the US of a resumption.
At the Group of 20 summit in Rome, Biden released a joint statement with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron, and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, affirming their determination to ensure that Iran can never develop or obtain a nuclear weapon.
