The government media office in the Gaza Strip reported that a new batch of aid will enter the Gaza Strip today through the Rafah border crossing in the south of the Strip.
Director of the Media Office (Ministry of Information), Salama Marouf, said in a press statement yesterday evening, Sunday, that “a limited aid convoy of 14 trucks entered, loaded with food supplies, water, and some medicines.
He added that is the second convoy to enter the Strip since the beginning of the aggression sixteen days ago.”
Marouf warned that the 34 trucks of aid convoys that have arrived in the Gaza Strip so far are far less than the needs of the population, which was receiving more than 500 trucks loaded with various needs every day.
He considered that this convoy and dozens like it will not meet the urgent needs of the Strip currently in quantity and quality, especially in light of the non-entry of fuel, which has become a priority and a workhorse for all service sectors due to its scarcity in some areas and its depletion in other areas.
