New Incentives “Strong Support” for Investment Climate in SCZone, Chairman Says

Walid Gamal el Din, head of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) confirmed Wednesday that the new investment incentives announced yesterday are a strong step to support and enhance the investment climate in the economic zone.

The head of the SCZone said in a special statement to the Middle East News Agency - on the sidelines of the celebration of the Chinese Tida Industrial Zone of the 15th anniversary of its work in the Suez Canal Economic Zone, that these incentives will greatly benefit investors in terms of enhancing the facilitation of dealing steps and confirm the government's commitment to investors.

On the date of activating the decision to offer a share of Port Said Container Trading Company on the stock exchange, he said this step within the government offering program.

He pointed out that there are 36 service and logistics companies operating in the Suez Canal Economic Zone.

On plans for new promotion tours following the success of China's promotional tour, he said Asian and European tours are planned for next month.

Prime Minister  Mustafa Madbouly announced yesterday new facilities for investors that included many decisions that stimulate direct investment, especially for the industrial, agricultural and real estate sector, foremost of which is the expansion of granting the gold license to all projects belonging to the private sector.
