The Council of Ministers approved yesterday, Wednesday the President of Egypt’s draft resolution to amend the eastern border of Cairo governorate, to include lands of the New Administrative Capital.

This came in compliance with the constitutional requirement that the seat of government - including the House of Representatives and the Senate - be inside the capital.

The text came as follows, “The Council of Ministers approved the draft resolution of the President of the Republic concerning the amendment of the eastern border of Cairo Government, to include lands of the New Administrative Capital and its extension.
