Netflix Unveils First Look at Kanye West Documentary

Netflix unveiled Sunday the first glimpse at the Kanye West documentary, which has been 20 years in the making.

The documentary, titled "Jeen-Yuhs",  follows the rapper over a 20 year period as well as depicts his journey from artist to businessman, his presidential bid, and the death of his mother, Donda.

It is co-directed by Coodie Simmons and Chike Ozah, who are responsible for West's "Jesus Walks" and "Through the Wire" videos.

The teaser featured the rapper with fellow rapper Mos Def as they performed lyrics from their song "Two Words", which was featured on West's Grammy Award-winning 2004 album, "The College Dropout".

The footage was taken during a gathering with friends in New York in 2002.

This year, West was constantly making headlines with the breakdown of his marriage to Kim Kardashian and their ongoing porce.

Last month, the rapper released his long-awaited 10th studio album" Donda", named after his late mother who passed away in 2007 following complications from cosmetic surgery.

The documentary has yet to receive a release date.
