Netflix dropped Tuesday the official trailer for "The Kissing Booth 3", the final installment of the hit young-adult romantic comedy franchise starring Joey King.
The franchise writer-director Vince Marcello filmed "The Kissing Booth 2" and "The Kissing Booth 3" back-to-back, before the coronavirus outbreak.
The first movie in the franchise was the most re-watched Netflix movie in 2018.
Marcello also penned the script along with Jay Arnold, which is based on the final book in Beth Reekles’ trilogy.
Michele Weisler, Ed Glauser, and Andrew Cole-Bulgin. King and Adam Friedlander are serving as executive producers on the project which will be produced by Marcello through his Picture Loom company.
"Kissing Booth 3" will also feature Taylor Zakhar Perez, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Meganne Young, and Molly Ringwald.
The movie continues the coming-of-age of Elle (King), who is facing the hardest decision of her life, whether to go to Harvard and move across the country with her boyfriend Noah (Jacob Elordi) or fulfill her lifelong promise to go to college (at UC Berkeley) with her best friend Lee (Joel Courtney).
"The Kissing Booth 3" hits Netflix on August 11.
