Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has laid out his government’s conditions for ending the war in the Gaza Strip, according to a statement released by his office.

The statement said the conditions include the complete disarmament of Hamas as well as the removal of all weapons from Gaza. Netanyahu’s office described these steps as “fundamental pillars” for achieving what he termed security and stability in the region.

The proposed conditions also call for Israel to maintain control over Gaza’s perimeter, ensuring continued Israeli security oversight. In addition, Netanyahu’s office outlined a plan for a governing authority to be established inside Gaza—one that would not be affiliated with either Hamas or the Palestinian Authority. The remarks signal a vision for a new administrative structure in the enclave once the war ends.

The announcement comes amid ongoing international discussions over ceasefire efforts and the future of Gaza’s governance once hostilities subside.
