Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu left the cabinet meeting to have a phone call with US President Biden that lasted 40 minutes, Al Qahera News channel reported citing Israeli media.
Axios quoted an Israeli official as saying that the call between Biden and Netanyahu focused on hostage negotiations and the possible military operation in the Palestinian city of Rafah.
The Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression against the Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October, leaving more than 28,000 Palestinians killed, while nearly 86,000 were injured, more than 8,000 are still missing under the rubble, as the occupation prevents ambulance crews from reaching them.
