Israeli Prime Minister (PM) Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Iran and Hezbollah are weaker than ever before, but the war against them is not over yet, adding: "If the Iranian regime makes the same mistake again, we will respond with full force."
In a speech delivered a short while ago, Netanyahu explained that Iran and Hezbollah are attempting to impose equations that are unacceptable to "us."
He added: "A year ago, we launched a historic offensive against Iran's ambition to destroy us with a nuclear bomb, and I pledge that Iran will never possess nuclear weapons."
The Israeli Prime Minister further noted: "Our mission with Hezbollah is not yet complete. We acted against Hezbollah with absolute firmness, as they had a plan to invade the Galilee."
He continued: "The Iranian regime backed down from attacking us after our retaliation."
Following hours of military escalation involving exchanged airstrikes and ballistic missiles, Iran and Israel halted their reciprocal attacks.
This came in response to a call from U.S. President Donald Trump for an immediate ceasefire, accompanied by his warning regarding the confrontation's impact on the path of peace negotiations.
