Egyptian actress, Nelly Karim announced Sunday on "Instagram", that her latest film “Tuesday 12”, has wrapped shooting.
Karim shared a series of photos from the behind-the-scenes of the film, and captioned: "Ferkesh film “الثلاثاء ١٢" @majdi.smiri @sihamkhzuz @er_nouur @ingie_elmor #movie #film #cinema #tuesday12,".
“Tuesday 12” also stars Bassem Yakhour, Omar Mikati, Badih Abou Chakra, Stephanie Atala, Pierre Samaan, Nour Ehab, and others.
The production was shot in the United Arab Emirates by Tunisian director Magdi Al Samiri.
“Tuesday 12” marks Karim’s first film to be shot in the UAE as well as Siham Al-Khzouz producing debut, who attempts to shed light along with the “I See Media” production company, on the current prospection of the UAE youth.
The production is a coming-of-age film that focuses on 3 fourteen-year-old girls, Amal, an athletic, Salma, a pianist, and Noor, a rebel dancer, who struggles with their father to achieve their dreams despite social and religious differences, as each faces their dilemmas and challenges to fulfill their dreams.
The film is set to participate in major international and Arab festivals before it’s released in the cinemas across the Arab world.
Karim has other upcoming projects on the way, such as TV series “Nemra Etnien”, and films “El Feel El Azraq 3”, “Agent Zero”, and “Bi 100 Wesh”.
The actress was recently seen in film “Bloodline” starring Dhaffer L’Abidine.
She is also set to participate in the Ramadan 2021 drama marathon, which will be filmed under the working title of TV series “Dahab” (Gold).
Karim and the creators of the series are currently holding working sessions to finish all preparations for the series.
The series is written by Dr. Medhat El-Adl and directed by Hany Khalifa. It is a joint production between Synergy production company and El Adl Group.
