Necessity is the mother of invention. A chic and convenient eyewear case that can be hung on the bag or the belt is what made Egyptian designer, Lobna Ismail, come up with convy, a brand of practical, and elegant eyewear cases.
Ismail thought of a convenient and comfortable eyewear case shall do the trick, after growing tired of losing her glasses, having it fall from her head, or not being able to protect it inside the cases of the small purses.

She presents her eyewear designs for all women and men, which is created with love and artistic vision.
The cases can be hung from outside the bag, adding elegance and beauty to it, or can be hung on the belt.

The designer is a glasses lover. She studied at the Faculty of Art Education in Zamalek. Leather was one of the subjects closest to her heart during her study.
Ismail comes from an artistic family. Her father is a visual artist, Ismail Attia, and her mother is a decoupage artist and loves artworks, as well as her husband, is also an artist, which made it easy for her to start working on these cases that have a very important functionality and great value that all women realize, especially for those who use small purses.

Ismail, who also works in the field of human resources, kicked off her small project in July 2019. She has now a market in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, despite the small period of establishing her project.

Talking about designing Egyptian handmade leather products, Ismail stated that she makes her designs entirely in Egypt with Egyptian leather.
“All the leather used is natural 100%, even, the inner of the case is made of natural leather chamois to protect the glasses and lenses, while the accessories are made of the finest types of minerals to preserve their luster and color,” she added.

She continued: “These cases are a complete alternative to the traditional ones. The “convy” name was inspired by the word "convenient" in English, which means practical and comfortable.
Ismail confirms that her love for sunglasses and her ordeal in preserving it made her contemplate the idea of designing cases, during a visit to a European country.
“I was impressed by the idea and decided to implement it to preserve sunglasses and optics,” she added.

Ismail recommends the right choice, pointing out that "The case is for all types, shapes, and sizes of sunglasses and optics, but choosing the case design depends on the person's taste. We have more than 12 different colors and designs to suit all tastes.”
