A source inside the Referee's Committee of the CAF said that Congolese Jean Jacques Ndala Ngambo will be appointed to officiate Al Ahly and Raja match in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter finals.
The match takes place on April 10th at Al Salam stadium.
Al Ahly advanced to the Champions League quarterfinals after finishing in second place in Group A, ten points behind Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Reds have requested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to allow them to sell all 30,000 available seats for the crucial clash.
In their statement, Al Ahly said that the security forces have proven they can organize large events such as the World Cup qualifier between Egypt and Senegal, which saw an estimated 70,000 fans in attendance.
