In a marvelous clash, Jimmy Butler has led The Miami Heat, on Friday night, to a difficult last-minute victory over The Lakers in Game 5 of the N.B.A. finals, with a score of (111-108), bringing the matches sore to 3-2 in favor of The Lakers.

This means that if The Lakers win Game 6, scheduled on Sunday, they shall be crowned the title, while if The Heats were victorious this means resorting to a final play-off match, in the series which is decided on the basis of best in 7 games.

The Heat were in control for most of the game, thanks to amazing performances from Butler and Duncan Robinson, but the Lakers came back strongly in the fourth quarter to take the lead by the outstanding performance of LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Butler put the Heat on his back, accumulating a triple double (35 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists) and going one-on-one against LeBron James.

James finished with 40 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists, while hobbled Davis had 28 points and 12 boards.

“We got a hell of a look to win the game, to win the series,” James said. “We’ve got to be better in Game 6, and close the series.”

“We’ll definitely bounce back,” Lakers head coach Frank Vogel said after the game. “There’s no question about that.

“It’s a tough loss, there’s no doubt about it. We were very close. I felt two bad calls at the end put Butler to the line, and that’s unfortunate in a game of this magnitude.”, he added.
