A senior official in Jordan’s energy sector confirmed that the flow of natural gas from the Leviathan field in the eastern Mediterranean to Jordan resumed on Friday morning, according to the Jordanian news agency Petra.
The official indicated that gas volumes are expected to gradually return to their normal levels in the near term. Authorities are closely monitoring the gas flow to ensure a steady supply to power generation plants and to maintain stable operations across the energy sector.
This resumption comes as a critical measure to secure electricity production and energy stability in Jordan, reflecting ongoing coordination with regional suppliers to support consistent energy delivery.
